Analysis that moves with your team

Patent analysis is rarely a solo effort. Complex matters move between colleagues, counsel and clients, from initial evidence to final analysis. August’s updates make it easier to work from the same project, direct deeper research, and focus on the patents and arguments that matter.

Here’s what changed

  • Collaborate in shared projects

  • Get more done before your first review

  • Find stronger, better-ranked evidence

Work together in shared projects

Invalidity · Infringement · FTO · Novelty Search

Shared projects are beginning to roll out in Stilta. Collaborate within your team by inviting colleagues from your organization, or externally with counsel. Everyone works in the same project, with access to its analysis, sources, findings, and agent context, so they can review the work or continue where someone else left off. Once shared, the project appears directly in each collaborator’s project list.

Invite colleagues, set their access, and work together in one shared project.

More done before your first review

Invalidity · Infringement · FTO · Novelty Search

Stilta’s deep-analysis workflow begins with an autonomous search and analysis run, followed by practitioner review and direction. August’s platform and agent-stack release extends that first phase, enabling the agents to complete more search and analysis steps before returning the project. The initial run may take longer (30+ minutes), but more search, evidence mapping and analysis is already complete when it reaches review.

Follow the autonomous run through groundwork, exhaustive search, and charting.

Stronger analysis. Better-ranked evidence.

Invalidity · Infringement · FTO · Novelty Search

We’ve reworked the logic that analyzes each claim feature and ranks its supporting excerpts. More relevant excerpts now appear higher in the chart, making the strongest evidence easier to identify and assess. Combined with an upgraded model layer, this delivers stronger feature-level analysis and better-ordered, source-backed evidence without changing how you work.

Coming up next

  • Targeted searching, which continues until every claim feature has a reading or further searches stop producing meaningful results

  • Selectable FTO report scope, so you choose which patents receive a full overlap and clearance analysis

  • Report and exporting improvements

We’ll share the details as each feature launches.
