Stilta integrates LexisNexis global patent and European patent litigation data

Stilta is now integrating LexisNexis' high-quality global patent and European patent litigation data into its agentic AI platform. This robust data foundation enables law firms and corporate IP teams to conduct deep and reliable analysis.
Raising the standard for agentic analysis
LexisNexis data will be available through purpose-built data structures and vector embeddings developed by Stilta, then used by Stilta's agents tailored to specific patent tasks. Stilta uses these capabilities to provide a direct path from patent data to agentic analysis across invalidity, freedom-to-operate, infringement, SEP, and portfolio analysis.
A broader data foundation
Patent information spans languages, jurisdictions, and generations of related filings. A single matter may require examining technical disclosures, tracing family relationships, checking legal status, and understanding previous disputes.
LexisNexis brings together all of that data, including full patent text, original documents and English machine translations, along with citations, family relationships, normalized applicant and assignee information, and legal status. It is all standardized, so it can be used the same way across languages and jurisdictions. On the European patent litigation side, LexisNexis covers around 93,000 cases from 13 countries, including select European jurisdictions and the Unified Patent Court. Each case comes with more than 200 fields, from parties and courts to procedural dates and, where available, outcomes.
Integrating source data into agentic analysis
Stilta integrates LexisNexis data into analysis-ready structures by organizing documents for retrieval, connecting related records, and breaking patent claims into individual limitations. Stilta's agents then use those structures in performing patent-related analysis.
Each part of the dataset serves a clear purpose. Patent text and translations show what an invention discloses. Citations and family links reveal related documents, while ownership, legal-status, and litigation data add commercial and legal context.
From there, Stilta deploys a swarm of agents to find the evidence that is hardest to uncover. Working in parallel, each with its own search strategy, they cover multiple languages and jurisdictions, follow citation and family links into obscure and non-English filings, and dig deeper when the evidence is thin.
They then test that evidence against claim constructions grounded in prosecution and litigation history. Stilta uses this process to provide claim-by-claim analysis that customers can review and verify.
By integrating LexisNexis's broad patent and litigation data into Stilta's structured records and task-specific agents, Stilta supports its customers' research and analysis across invalidity, freedom-to-operate, infringement, SEP, and portfolio matters.
